About the Role:
This is an exciting part time opportunity to join our International Team to cover a 12 month Maternity Leave. You could either work 3 days per week, or perhaps 5 hours per day Monday to Friday.
As part of the International Group you will report to the International Manager. This team drives all LIC activities outside of New Zealand, delivering insights, genetic improvement and scale to fund more innovation. The International Group includes International Genetics, LIC Europe, LIC Australia, Beacon Automation and Dairy Development.
This role is responsible for the development, implementation and management of the digital aspects of global marketing and PR programmes, which complement the sales effort and in turn increase equity in the LIC brand internationally.
You will also be responsible for managing the international websites with up to date relevant content to drive the growth of international markets.
Your Key Focus:
- Collaborate with the international team and country managers to plan and implement digital marketing initiatives consistent with the LIC brand and strategy.
- Manage the International websites with current and relevant content including news articles and product support material.
- Support the International Product Specialist to ensure the bull data and photos on all four websites are correct and up to date
- Manage all digital ads and SEO activity necessary to drive LIC’s digital presence in international markets.
- Advise on the content direction for LIC International’s social media platforms in subsidiary markets.
- Liaise with the International Marketing Specialist and country managers to ensure the LIC brand is consistent across all marketing channels.
Your Key Skills & Experience:
- Tertiary qualification ideally in digital marketing/marketing, communications, agri-business or similar.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in marketing, sponsorship or PR roles.
- A minimum of two years’ experience with SEO/SEM, social media and website management.
- Experience in research skills, content creation (copywriting/imagery/photographs), graphic design and creation of marketing material (for print, digital, website, presentations etc).
- Proficiency in Apple Mac and Mac OS, as well as Microsoft systems, Adobe programs and digital platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across a range of stakeholders within the business and assist in gaining buy in to marketing activities and events.
- An understanding of LIC and the dairy industry, our shareholders and their current and future needs is desirable, but not essential.
