Systems Analyst
Come and play a role in a respected organisation as we lean into a multi-year program of transformative change for our business systems, which you will help to support and deliver.
We usually respond within two weeks
LIC have been providing innovative farming solutions for over 100 years, and today, we're proudly NZ's leading agri-tech and dairy herd improvement cooperative. We are a part of a wider NZ Inc. and play a key role in driving economic growth in NZ. We achieve this through our world-renowned genetics and technology products, which create more sustainable and profitable farms.
About the role:
Reporting to the Business Solutions Manager, you will be part of a team which supports core business functions for LIC. Specifically, this role will be focused on the operational running, maintenance and changes to our core business software solutions which cover finance, sales, logistics, HR, payroll, CRM and associated business functions.
You will help liaise between third-party vendors around system changes and BAU support and will help inform the priority of work to be done on behalf of the business units involved.
Currently many of these business functions are delivered through SAP solutions, but there is a momentum to move this functionality into cloud-based solutions as part of a multi-year technology transformation program. As a result we will re-shape how our Technology services are delivered, meaning the exact responsibilities of the System Analyst will morph to adapt to these ever-changing needs in a modern organisation.
The team portfolio of responsibility is also growing to include a much wider remit of applications which support core business functions, so joining us now will put you in a great place to play a key role for that work as we work to modernise our offerings and expand our areas of influence.
About You:
You will love exploring the detail, getting to the root cause of an issue or helping our application users get the best out of their products. You will love engaging stakeholders to explore the art of the possible then owning the delivery of system changes. You will love being part of a collaborative team who succeeds together.
You will enjoy working closely with application business owners to ensure currency, supportability and security across our Business Solutions portfolio.
You will be an active member of the Systems Analyst community of practice, modelling good practice for change, incident and problem management.

- 2+ years’ experience supporting SaaS and traditional applications
- Experience in managing technology changes
- Good understanding of technology service delivery practices
- A strong collaborative nature and curious mindset
- Excellent communication, relationship building, and collaborative skills

In return:
This role offers the chance to join a supportive team environment with a developing System Analyst practice, which you will become an active member of. We are committed to delivering exceptional value for our customers. Our team is passionate, collaborative, and driven by innovation and excellence.
In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
