As Marketing Team Lead, you’ll head up a small, talented team and deliver campaigns that don’t just look great — they deliver measurable ROI and real business outcomes. You’ll combine commercial smarts with creativity, using data and insights to back decisions and keep campaigns sharp, effective, and ahead of the curve.
Your Key Focus:
- Brand and Marketing Strategy: have input into LIC’ Brand and marketing strategy. Develop clear, consistent, and compelling messaging for internal and external audiences. Champion the delivery of meaningful and effective customer-centric communications with a consistent brand voice. Deliver clear marketing strategies for new products and services.
- Lead the development and delivery of best-practice, trend-led marketing strategies, ensuring all campaigns are innovative, commercially effective, and deliver measurable ROI.
- Lead the marketing team, providing direction, guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure individual and team objectives are delivered, aligned to LIC strategy.
- Marketing Plan and Campaign Execution: In conjunction with the Marketing and Campaign specialist -manage advertising and promotion (A&P) tasks for LIC’s brand, products, services and solutions. Collaborate with teams to create comprehensive marketing plans aligned with LIC’s strategy.
- Use customer insights and market trends to shape brand and marketing strategies, campaigns, and creative content. Acting as brand guardian, ensuring the look, tone, and presence are consistent across all channels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborates closely with sales, product, and communication teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing initiatives with business strategies.
- Project Management for Marketing Initiatives: Leads and manages marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. Coordinates with relevant teams and stakeholders to define project scope, set milestones, and allocate resources effectively.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable ROI across marketing campaigns, with clear examples of driving revenue growth or cost efficiencies.
- Experience leading and developing a small, high-performing marketing team, including setting goals, coaching, and performance management.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align marketing activity to business objectives and demonstrate value to stakeholders.
- Up-to-date knowledge of marketing trends, channels, and technologies, with the ability to apply innovative approaches that lift campaign effectiveness.
- Advanced use of data and analytics to plan, optimise, and evaluate marketing activity, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, build alignment, and deliver outcomes across functions.
- Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail, with a passion for developing engaging marketing content.
