About the Role:
We're looking for a full-time Laboratory Technician to join our Animal Health Lab Team, which is part of the LIC Operations and Service Group. This role reports to the Animal Health Team Leader.
This role is based at our Riverlea Road site.
Your role will be responsible for:
Preparation of a range of Bovine and Caprine samples for testing in our Animal Health Laboratory
Reporting on test results
Implementation and maintenance of ISO 17025 quality standards for all laboratory practices
About You:
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience working in a commercial laboratory, preferably under ISO 17025 standards
Experience in PCR and ELISA testing
Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks and work collaboratively across teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence around computers and using software interface
A high level of motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced / high throughput environment
A consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail
