About the Role:

Based at our Artificial Breeding Depot in Newstead Hamilton and reporting to the AB Despatch Lead, you'll be working in our Packing Room, responsible for preparing and packing frozen semen into liquid nitrogen banks, to be despatched to the field for insemination.

This is a full-time, seasonal role to cover our peak season between July and November.  (Please note:  There is a possibility the role could be extended) During our peak season this role is required to work on a rostered basis.

You'll be responsible for:

• Packing and despatching semen straws, safely, efficiently, accurately and in compliance with LIC’s procedures/policies.

• Day to day support for the AB Despatch Lead, AB Warehousing and Despatch Operations.

• Ensuring LIC’s quarantine and Health & Safety policies/procedures are understood and complied with.
