About the Role:
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the field of laboratory operations? Join our Artificial Breeding team as a Production Laboratory Technician; become part of a dynamic group of individuals that provide industry-leading products, empowering dairy farmers to create more sustainable and profitable farms.
As a Production Laboratory Technician, you will be an essential part of our laboratory team, focusing on the preparation and testing of Semen samples. Days of work and start times may change during our peak season (October/November). This role demands precision and a strong adherence to industry standards, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exceptional teamwork and communication abilities to collaborate effectively within the laboratory setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all laboratory activities to ensure traceability and reliability of data.
- A proactive attitude, with a commitment to quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
- A tertiary qualification in science and/or laboratory experience is preferred but not essential.
