This role is part of LIC's Operations & Services team, who deliver an essential animal health service to NZ farmers. Operations & Service is made up of LIC's Artificial Breeding, Diagnostics, Farms Management, Field Assist, Heifer Management and Herd Testing teams.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Herd Test Sample Transport Team Leader, you will be responsible for the transportation of Herd Test samples, equipment and goods delivered and retrieved from depots around the North Island. This is a casual role to provide cover during the peak season and possibly ongoing.
The role involves:
Providing cover on days when another driver is needed.
Midday starts
Truck run covers Waikato, Northland and Bay of Plenty.
The role would be ideal for someone who is looking for part-time hours, perhaps someone who is semi-retired.
About You:
With a 'can-do' attitude, you will be a self-motivated with excellent record keeping and customer service skills. You will also:
Be physically fit (able to lift 20kg)
While we would prefer a class 4 licence, we will also consider those with a class 2.
Must have an excellent driving record
Computer skills would be an advantage
