About the Role:
Reporting to the Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll be part of LIC’s Support Services Group, playing a hands‑on role in keeping goods moving smoothly across the business. This is a fast‑paced, varied position where you’ll support daily warehouse and logistics operations, work closely with suppliers and internal teams, and contribute to projects that improve efficiency and reliability. Adaptability, accuracy and a proactive mindset are key to success in this role.
Your Key Focus:
Receive, pick, pack and despatch goods accurately and on time.
Respond to warehouse and mailroom queries efficiently via shared inboxes and CRM systems.
Maintain accurate inventory and bin locations through SAP‑based warehouse management.
Support timely stock replenishment in partnership with the purchasing team, reducing supply risk.
Coordinate safe, cost‑effective delivery of goods nationally and internationally.
Work as part of a high‑performing team to achieve strong DIFOT and stock accuracy results.
Manage mailroom services, internal deliveries and forklift movements across site as required.
Store and handle materials in line with procedures, including compliant dangerous goods management.
Work independently when required, following lone‑worker and safety protocols.
Contribute to logistics and Support Services projects that improve systems, layouts and processes.
Your Skills & Experience:
Self‑motivated and well organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work collaboratively to meet deadlines.
Experience or knowledge in inventory management and stocktaking is an advantage.
Basic to intermediate computer skills, with experience in SAP and Microsoft 365 highly desirable.
A positive, team‑focused approach with clear and effective communication skills.
Proactive and solutions‑focused, with the ability to deliver quality outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.
A current driver’s licence is essential.
A forklift licence and safe operation certification are preferred (training can be provided).
Experience or understanding of dangerous goods handling is advantageous.
