Join LIC's multi award-winning Customer Experience team and play a key role in developing the capability that underpins exceptional customer experiences.
About the Role:
This is far more than a traditional Trainer role. You'll design and deliver engaging learning programmes, coach and develop our people, and partner with leaders to build capability across our Customer Experience team.
You'll also help shape the future of learning by exploring innovative approaches, including generative AI, digital learning tools and data-driven insights to create engaging, personalised and effective learning experiences.
This is a full-time, office-based role at our Newstead campus, working alongside a collaborative, high-performing team that's passionate about learning, innovation and customer experience.
About You:
You're passionate about developing people and creating learning experiences that make a genuine difference. You'll ideally bring experience in training, facilitation, coaching, instructional design, or learning and development within a customer-focused environment.
You'll also:
Be an engaging facilitator who enjoys developing others and bringing out their best.
Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence, including empathy, self-awareness, and the ability to handle challenging conversations with professionalism and care.
Have experience designing effective learning solutions, training programmes, or digital learning content using instructional design principles and methodologies.
Build strong relationships and confidently influence people at all levels.
Be curious about emerging technologies, including generative AI, and excited by how they can enhance learning, coaching and capability.
Use quality, customer and performance insights to identify learning opportunities and continually improve outcomes.
Have excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
Learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing business needs.
Knowledge of learning design platforms such as Articulate, or experience developing structured learning programmes would be highly regarded.
Knowledge of LIC products or MINDA would be an advantage but isn't essential.
In Return:
Join a team that values your contribution, supports your development and encourages innovation. We also offer:
Competitive Salary
Permanent, full-time office-based role, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, with no weekend work
