About the Role:
As LIC continues to grow and evolve, we have a number of exciting new positions available. The newly created AB Logistics & Despatch Manager role will report to the AB Supply Chain Manager and will lead the end‑to‑end logistics that support LIC’s national Artificial Breeding programme. This includes bank packing, despatch, consumables and fleet coordination from despatch landing through to field delivery.
You’ll play a key role in driving digitisation, logistics visibility and delivery performance, using telematics and route optimisation tools to support faster, more reliable operations.
You’ll lead 6 direct reports and work closely with depots, labs, despatch teams and Regional AB Operations Managers across NZ.
Regular travel to the South Island will be required.

Your Skills & Experience:
Essential
Experience in logistics, supply chain or operational coordination
Strong analytical, organisational and reporting capability
Confident stakeholder engagement across operational teams
Calm, solutions‑focused and improvement‑driven
Desirable
Agricultural or seasonal operations experience
Telematics, fleet or route optimisation exposure
Experience leading operational or field‑based teams
